Synergy for AgriFuture

Capacity development activities for agricultural startups that apply artificial intelligence technology (AgTech AI)

The activity nurtures university students studying at undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, as well as university alumni and researchers in both the public and private sectors to prepare them to become entrepreneurs of agricultural startups with the skills and knowledge of artificial intelligence technology and the ability to further develop technology into innovative technology businesses.   This has led to the transition of the agricultural sector to precision farming to increase production efficiency, reduce costs and increase income, which is in line with the government's Agricultural Policy 4.0 and the government's bioeconomic-circular economy-green economy (BCG Model).

  • To encourage and develop students. Researchers and alumni of the university Capable of becoming an entrepreneur, an agricultural startup with artificial intelligence technology skills.
  • To create technological capability, especially the ability to further develop technology to create businesses, in-depth technological innovations, and to enhance and transition the agricultural sector to precision farming.
  • To support the development of a collaborative network to develop agricultural start-up enterprises that apply artificial intelligence technologies. The AgTech AI Consortium is a coalition of the country's artificial intelligence technology consultants who understand how to transfer knowledge, further development of technology to agricultural innovation.

Target Group

  • University students pursuing undergraduate, master's, doctoral degrees, as well as university alumni and researchers in both the public and private sectors.
