Incubator under the Certified Incubator Program

  The government has foreseen the power of the new generation to become a major force in the country's development. Therefore, the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) in collaboration with the TED Fund to implement the Youth Startup Fund to support students and new graduates who have ideas and dreams of building technology and innovation businesses together with 16 certified incubators in both the public and private sectors nationwide, the Youth Nation-Building Project is one of the key strategies for the country's development and an important project to transform Thailand into the 21 century. And it reforms the learning system, creating real-world experiences outside of the classroom. Provide opportunities for young people to apply knowledge, innovation and technology to rural areas, as well as support and promote the creative economy and modern entrepreneurship.

Funding supports innovative projects with support. as follows

Activity structure
Student Grant Support Program student
1. IDEATION INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Program Details: Funding program under the "Youth Startup Fund" by the TED Fund, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (UAW) It is intended to support and encourage students. Students, new graduates, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and social enterprises (SE) can build on concepts or business plans that can generate income. This will help drive the creation of entrepreneurs who drive businesses with strong technology and innovation and can grow quickly. Stable and sustainable
Support formats: 100,000 baht grant (for individuals) to develop a mockup and a complete business plan by incubating a TED Fellow accredited by the TED Fund.

  1. The project implementation period is not more than 6 months.
  2. Funding supports 100% of the total project value.
  3. Proponents of the program must be members of a TED Fellow accredited by the TED Fund.
  4. The project proposer must have a team of at least 3 people (including the offeror) who are Thai nationals and are in the process of studying in an educational institution with a bachelor's degree, master's or doctoral degree, or have completed a maximum of 5 years (*must be an educational institution in Thailand only).
  5. The project implementation period is not more than 6 months.

2. INNOVATION LABS PROGRAM

Program Details:
Form of support: 500,000 baht to purchase testing services from public and private universities/research institutes

  • The project implementation period is not more than 1 year.
  • Funding does not exceed 90% of the total project value.
3. UNIVERSITY SEED GRANT PROGRAM

Program Details:
Support model: 750,000 baht to develop prototypes that prove new ideas both in technology and business (Prove of Concept Idea(POC)

  • The project implementation period is not more than 1 year.
  • Funding does not exceed 90% of the total project value.
4. INCUBATORS INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Program Details:
Support model: A grant of 1,500,000 baht to assist and consult on the development of prototypes, which is a grant to develop a POC through a certified incubator.

  • NIA-APPROVED INCUBATORS, THE PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD IS NOT MORE THAN 1 YEAR, THE FUNDING DOES NOT EXCEED 90% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT VALUE.
